About Our Denver Acupuncture Clinic
About Garryn Gauthier | Licensed Acupuncturist | Owner of Wellnest
As a licensed acupuncturist in Denver, Colorado, I’m on a mission to mainstream Eastern medicine and make the world and my community a healthier and happier place.
I grew up in the Wisconsin countryside, riding my bike in the forest, playing with insects, and involved in almost every sport imaginable. I tore a ligament in my knee and it greatly impacted my life. I could no longer enjoy the active lifestyle I greatly identified with.
I had an expensive failed surgery that I was told would do the trick. But after inescapable and constant pain, my perception of Western medicine was less than romantic. I moved to Hawaii to try to find some resolve and passionately fell in love with a mysterious Eastern medicine.
My first acupuncture treatment greatly reduced the pain in my knee and the anxiety I carried with me from my trauma was virtually gone. I thought to myself, “I need to do this. I need to help people feel this way!”
This passionate love affair carried me to Santa Cruz, California. I enrolled in Five Branches University’s four-year Masters degree program of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Immediately after I passed my California Acupuncture board exam and became a licensed acupuncturist, I opened my own practice and have quickly become a leader in the acupuncture community.
I am highly qualified in cosmetic acupuncture and facial acupuncture. In my clinic, I also successfully treat acupuncture for fertility, pain, women’s health, insomnia, digestive issues, and so much more! Lately, I have felt a strong calling to help those with acupuncture for anxiety, stress, and depression. If you are looking for a Denver acupuncture clinic, you are in superior hands here at Wellnest Acupuncture + Holistic Medicine.
About Tiffany Bilthouse | Licensed Acupuncturist
Tiffany is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado. She received her Master of Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College where she completed a 3.5 year educational program including over 700 hours of clinical practice. She is board certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Tiffany’s passion for health and wellness began at a young age, she has a Bachelors degree from the University of Iowa in Psychology and Nutrition, with a minor in Exercise Science, she is also a certified yoga teacher. She discovered acupuncture when she had an injury in undergraduate college leading to extensive orthopedic surgeries. She sought out acupuncture for pain relief and after experiencing the benefits of acupuncture herself, she knew that she had to pursue a career in this medicine. She fell in love with the approach of Chinese medicine in treating the body and mind as a whole, rather than a category of symptoms.
Tiffany takes an individualized and diverse approach to treatment by combining techniques of Chinese medicine with modern Western systems of sports medicine and orthopedics. She specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine. She develops a personalized treatment through manual muscle testing and orthopedic evaluation for pain relief, injury recovery, and athletic performance. She utilizes a variety of therapies such as motor points needling, trigger point needling, injection therapy, cupping, E-Stim, guasha, and moxibustion.
With a background in Psychology, Tiffany is passionate about treating mental and emotional health such as anxiety, insomnia, depression, and PTSD. She treats a variety of other conditions including digestion, women’s health & fertility, headaches/migraines, and she is certified in Microneedling and facial rejuvenation acupuncture. Tiffany is committed to nurturing patient well-being and facilitating balance through a mind-body-spirit connection.
Tiffany has a great love of the outdoors and Colorado sunshine. When she isn’t treating patients, you will find her enjoying the many outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, such as hiking, biking, skiing, and practicing yoga.
